MET is the first national accredited laboratory(NRTL) in the United States, creating a new era of American certification.
The MET certification logo, which has been recognized in the United States and Canada, is the best alternative to UL.
Legally, MET has the same legal status as UL. Both the UL and the MET logo indicate that the product has met the basic requirements of the relevant product safety standards. In addition, these two signs through regular factory follow-up inspections to ensure that the product continues to meet the requirements of the logo. The main difference between these two logos is the difference in the degree of involvement between the manufacturer and the laboratory and the difference in the cooperative relationship.
MET's product safety certification logo is widely accepted in the United States and Canada. In Canada, the MET Laboratory is one of the first certification bodies to be recognized by the Canadian Standards Commission. MET's C-mark is recognized by the Canadian Standards Committee and provincial authorities throughout Canada. In addition, MET is one of the few NCBs in the United States that participate in the IEEE CB certification program in 52 countries around the world.
